Adjunct professor Keith Johnson, an experienced photojournalist with 16 years of experience, teaches beginning and advanced photojournalism in the Department of Journalism and Communication at Utah State University. He has a passion for documentary photography and visual story-telling. During his journalism career he was a staff photographer at the Ogden Standard-Examiner, The Salt Lake Tribune and the Deseret News. He also served as Deputy Director of Photographer during his time at the Tribune. In addition to photography daily news, feature and sports assignments—including the 2002 Winter Olympics--he has also had the privilege of covering stories in Moscow and the Middle East.
