Undergraduate Research

With the second oldest undergraduate research program in the nation, USU offers students a wide range of opportunities to gain hands-on research experience. The Undergraduate Research and Creative Opportunities program allows students to apply for grants and receive funding. In the past, JCOM students have researched bias in major broadcast news outlets and presented their findings on Capitol Hill in Salt Lake City. For information on how to get involved in JCOM research contact Professor Cathy Ferrand Bullock (cathy.bullock@usu.edu) assistant department head.
