Experience the World
Many of the events that shape who students are and who they will become occur while studying abroad when they are challenged to learn new languages and open themselves to new cultures. Students in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences are encouraged to enrich their collegiate experiences by participating in one of the numerous study abroad opportunities facilitated by USU faculty or through one of its many partner institutions.
The university aims to keep study abroad affordable. Most affiliated exchange program costs are based on USU tuition, fees and housing. The university also participates in the International Student Exchange Programs (ISEP) where students trade placements with students from partner universities abroad. All affiliated study abroad programs earn credits towards USU degrees. and most financial aid and scholarships apply. Students interested in short-term study abroad experiences may consider enrolling in a summer program. Some scholarships are offered through the college.
If you are interested in studying abroad, make a plan with your academic advisor and contact the USU Office of Global Engagement to learn more about specific programs to determine which one is right for you.
